Samsung’s round smart watch to have wireless charging
Charging smart watches has been a bit of a pain so far. Because they require smaller ports, manufacturers usually opt for smaller, proprietary connectors that can’t exactly be easily replaced. If SamMobile’s sources are tob e believed, Motorola may be bringing a better solution to its next smart watch.
This watch is said to have a circular shape, a form factor the Moto 360 has proven to be attractive to consumers. It’s code named the “Orbis”, and rumors say it will come with wireless charging built-in.
Opinion: We are unsure if this means Qi wireless charging or simply wireless charging with Samsung proprietary accessories. Will I be able to just drop this watch into any of my wireless chargers? We shall see once the device is announced, which should be during MWC.
