I recently obtained an Axgio PowerStream X2 portable battery pack from Amazon:http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MOCJXYG
This device is also available from TinyDeal at: http://www.tinydeal.com/axgio-x2-5200mah-portable-power-bank-px2l568-p-134750.html
Specs:
Input: DC 5V 1A
Output: DC5V 1A
Capacity: 5200mAh
This item exceeded my expectations...
The Axgio PowerStream X2 has a fully metal casing that is both sturdy and attractive.
The included instructions were brief, but adequate for a device that is so simple to use.
A single USB to microUSB cable (included) can be used to either charge a device from the PowerStream, or to recharge the PowerStream with the push of a button.
It successfully charges not only my Samsung Galaxy S5, but also a variety of Android tablet devices that I own.
I didn't see this mentioned in the product description on Amazon, but the device also operates as a LED flashlight, which is a nice bonus feature that makes it doubly useful to carry in a bag or vehicle.
The biggest thing that could make this product better would be a charge level indicator. The status lights only indicate when the PowerStream is fully charged. There is no way to measure the current charge level between zero and full.
I might order another of these so I can keep one in each of my vehicles.
If anyone else has a need for an external battery for your phone or other devices, I can recommend the PowerStream X2 from Axgio.
Here is a short unboxing video of the product:<font color="#222222"><span style="font-family: Verdana;">
